We are building a dream: A modern Vietnamese bakery and cafe known for creative desserts rooted in our culinary heritage and genuinely friendly service.

In Vietnamese, “là lá” means “it’s a leaf.” That’s why our logo is the golden gingko, a tree that originates in Asia and has migrated to North America — a metaphor for our products, our team, and our vision.

We understand many folks have dietary restrictions. We list several potential ones here. If you need more info, please get in touch with the individual store you would like to visit via email.

Meat: Some buns and cakes contain pork, and will be marked.

Gelatin: Products generally don’t contain gelatine. If they do, they will be marked.

Dairy: Most products contain dairy, including our baked items that use milk bread recipes.

Gluten: Our breads and cakes use wheat flour. If you’re looking for gluten-free options, our drink menu is your best best.

Nuts: We are not a nut-free facility. Some baked items and drinks contain peanuts. Furthermore, staff are allowed to bring lunches that contain nuts. This means there is a risk for cross-contamination across our menu if you are severely allergic.

Eggs: Most products contain eggs. Some may also contain uncooked eggs in the form of glazes or sauces. Our yogurt and drinks do not contain eggs.
