LÀ LÁ Bakeshop brings bold, authentic Vietnamese flavours to any event. We feature ingredients like pandan, durian, pork floss, salted egg, sticky rice, and Vietnamese coffee.
What we do is distinctly modern. Rather than stay comfortable with nostalgia, we bring food that reflects today’s Vietnam, with all its dynamism, warmth, and optimism.
Many of our desserts showcase flavours and textures that might sound peculiar to the uninitiated. Yet your taste buds will reward your curiosity, as our loyal customers will attest.

Lead time
Please reach out as early as possible. At a minimum, we kindly request one week’s notice.
Delivery, rentals, and setup services
We deliver throughout the GTA and Waterloo region. We also offer table setting service to make your items pop! Yes, we can provide flowers too. Please see our menu above for more information.
Payment terms
We accept e-transfer or credit card payment. Orders over $500 require a 50% deposit, with the balance due 72 hours after your event. Please note that deposits will no longer be refundable if we receive less than 72 hours notice of cancellation.
Food Sensitivities
We understand many folks have dietary restrictions. Our two most frequently asked questions are:
Do your products contain nuts? Most items don’t contain nuts specifically unless marked, but we are not a nut-free facility. If this is a mandatory requirement for you, please know we aren’t equipped at this time to offer catering services out of an abundance of caution.
Do you have vegan options? Not at this time, no. We use eggs in all our recipes and butter in most.
Meat: Buns and cakes may contain meat in the form of shredded pork floss where indicated. You can opt for vegetarian-friendly substitutes like mushroom floss.
Dairy: Most products contain dairy, including our baked items that use milk bread recipes.
Gluten: We use wheat flour.
Nuts: We are not a nut-free facility. For instance, staff are permitted to bring meals to work that contain nuts. This means there is a risk for cross-contamination even with proper hygiene practices. That said, our products do not contain nuts unless specified. Tree nuts, specifically, like almonds or pistachios, are marked.
Raw eggs: Many items contain some amounts of raw egg in the form of glazes or sauces.
